HOW IT WORKS
When the wooden peg snaps off a track end you are left with a piece that will not connect. A pegbone is shaped like half a dog bone: the ribbed shaft sits inside the hole the peg came out of, and the outer face gives you a working connector again.
HOW TO FIT IT
1. Clear the broken stub and old glue out of the hole.
2. Test fit dry. Hole depth varies between BRIO, Thomas, IKEA and Melissa & Doug, so check every time.
3. If it is snug, add a drop of super glue or white glue to the ribbed section and press it in. Let it dry.
4. If it is loose, lay a small strip of paper over the hole and push the pegbone through it.
5. If the hole is too small, drill it out slightly or shave the ribs.

Perfect for fixing some inherited track pieces with missing pegs. I drilled out the old plastic and glued these in no problem. Really nice snug fit with other track pieces.

These work great and fit with no issues
Fit perfect on Brio track pieces! Note that non-Brio pieces have slightly larger or smaller holes. But with a little a intervention these worked great on non-Brio also… on holes slightly larger, a little gorilla glue kept pegs in place and secure. On holes slightly smaller, squeezing the pegs with pliers allowed them to fit the smaller non-Brio holes. I searched forever before finding compatible pegs for Brio track! Great find!!!
