Brown TrackMaster (2009) adapters

Bring the older brown TrackMaster track back into the layout! This collection is made for the 2009–2013 TrackMaster generation. Pick the matching TrainLab adapter to connect brown TrackMaster to the wooden railway, later gray TrackMaster, TOMY Plarail, or another compatible track system.

First, identify brown TrackMaster

Brown plastic TrackMaster track was sold from 2009 through 2013. It uses a different connector from gray TrackMaster track introduced in 2014 and from Easy Connect track introduced in 2026. A color check is the easiest first step: choose this collection for brown track, not gray or Easy Connect pieces.

An adapter bridges the gap between two connector shapes, letting a brown TrackMaster set join the tracks already on hand instead of staying in a separate loop. Most adapter packs include two pieces—one for each direction—so the connection can work with the track ends in the layout. The TrackWay Car, also shown here, creates a rolling connection between gray TrackMaster and wooden railway rolling stock.

Check before ordering

Confirm that the TrackMaster piece is brown and dates from 2009–2013. For gray 2014 track or 2026 Easy Connect track, use the corresponding collection instead.
